To start off, the colors were not what I was expecting. The crayons are supposed to come in 24 different colors but I only got 20. Also, half of those were practically the same color, and none resembled the box picture!
Moreover, these crayons were difficult to use. The tips of some of them broke very easily, leaving me with chunks instead of thin lines for drawing. Plus, their coverage wasn’t consistent—lighter and darker parts in my drawings that gave away the fact that I used these crayons. Additionally, despite being labeled as “nontoxic” on the packaging, there was a strong smell that had a hint of chemicals when I used them on my paper.
All things considered, TGIF crayon brands are definitely not worth the price they’re sold at. With subpar quality and unpleasant smells, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent set of crayons to work with.
