First off, the foam pads gave off a strong chemical smell when I opened it up. For a product that is meant to be used in an infant’s room, this isn’t very reassuring that it’s safe for my baby. It took a few days of airing out before the smell dissipated but even then, the odor was still present.
Additionally, the instructions on how to assemble the foam pads were unclear and it took me awhile to figure out how to put them together. Once I finally got them set up, the foam pads lacked support with barely any cushioning to provide comfort and safety for my baby, who is just learning to crawl.
